We've tested the audio on several browsers and it seems to be working correctly.
this match changed brazilian football, and football in general for a long time. Italy did their job well but for me as a purist, it was a bit of a tragedy
I understand mr. Scognamiglio is a licenced coach, but no way Italy was playing 4-2-3-1 with a rigid back-four in 1982. Correct formation would be "il gioco all'italiana": Zoff in goal, Scirea as a "libero" behind Gentile (stopper) and Collovati (terzino), Cabrini as the attacking left wing back, Oriali as the "mediano" (defensive mid), Tardelli box-to-box midfielder, Antognoni as a "regista", Graziani and Rossi the two forwards (Graziani was the one playing in the left side channel the most). Also, Brazil's formation was more of a 4-2-2-2 with Falcao, Cerezo, Socrates and Zico in a midfield square and Eder - Serginho as forwards.
Forgot Conti as the "ala tornante" on the right (essentially a defensive winger)
That Italy formation doesn't mean the back four was rigid. It's a stative representation of something dynamic. It's not intended to reflect small nuances, just the starting position to offer everyone a reference of where every player was playing. As for Brazil, interpreting that as 4-2-2-2 or 4-4-1-1 is subjective. Zico often drops back behind Serginho, while Éder and Falcão play on the flanks, though not wide. How high all of them should be displayed is a matter of interpretation.
Well IMO representing Italy's formation without the libero, which has been the trademark of Italian football for more than 30 years with no exception in the 1982 WC, it's not a small nuance but something that's conceptually wrong and historically inaccurate. I understand it's not easy to graphically represent a team using a man-marking system but the historical facts are Italy playing "il gioco all'italiana" and, in Brazil's case, Falcao not being a right-winger in a 4-4-1-1. A large number of historically accurate sources, that probably overrule any "interpretation", also corroborate these statements. Now I don't have anything personal with whoever is in charge of describing the game lineups on Footballia, but I would have expected a higher degree of research and historical accuracy rather than someone's interpretation of the player positions.
We appreciate your insight. It shows that you enjoy tactics, and so do we. You can rest assured that we've watched tons of old matches. That's why we started this project in the first place. It's not for lack of knowledge that we displayed it this way. This was not meant as an in-depth analysis. We have over 22,000 matches to analyze and we can't make in-depth analyses of every one of them. We merely meant to provide a guide so the viewers know in which area the players played. But of course, we're counting on the viewers' knowledge to interpret it as a dynamic situation, be it Italy's libero and man-to-man marking or the fluency of Brazil's midfield (Falcão is not depicted as a right winger, but rather as an inside right). The tactical formation of Italy is incorrect: Gentile is the right back and Oriali is a midfielder: their positions must be exchanged... Can you correct, please? :)
If you watch the match with attention, you'll see the formation is right. Gentile was usually a right back, and Orialia was a midfielder. But this formation reflects the way they started playing in this particular match. As you can read above, this formation was verified by a licensed coach, an Italian coach for that matter.

Una grandissima partita di calcio, praticamente conta come un'eliminazione diretta anche se al Brasile bastava un pareggio per passare. Ci sono sorprese per tutta la partita, gol di vantaggio, altri pareggi, insomma, è veramente spettacolare e le due squadre giocano benissimo. Rossi è l'uomo partita, una prestazione incredibile da parte sua. Credo comunque che qui qualsiasi squadra potesse passare il turno, veramente eccezionale. Grande match / Great match.
