Un partido en el primer tiempo y otro en el segundo. Argentina jugo como campeon, yendo constantemente al ataque, a tal punto que los dos goles de Italia nacen de contragolpes espectaculares. Gran partido de Passarella, de lo mejor con la selección. Es increíble que el arbitro no adicionara tiempo al final, y que amonestara a Diego a pesar de haber recibido todo tipo de faltas, planchas , codazos y trompadas todo el partido. Argentina juega con cuatro en el fondo, de los cuales tres juegan delante de la mitad de la cancha y solamente Galvan custodia el fondo. Gallego directamente no toca la pelota sino que solamente hace equilibrio... y después todos para arriba: ardiles, kempes, bertoni (que jugador extraordinario, un peligro todo el tiempo), Diego, y Ramon, de partido pobrisimo. En Italia hay un partido tremendo de Conti, y un despliegue colectivo muy intenso, aferrado al libreto... Otra cosa: con esos dos arquerazos era esperable que no hubiera muchos goles... solo que Zoff tuvo un buen feeling con los palos en el segundo tiempo.

Una grande partita di calcio. Italia-Argentina è molto dura, con tanti interventi scorretti da entrambe le parti, parecchie ammonizioni e un'espulsione. Il risultato rimane incerto fino alla fine. Veramente epica e combattuta.
Some Argentine players were more nasty than Gentile or Oriali : Passarella (king of elbow in the face), Gallego, Tarantini. But the world cup wasn't at home until 1978 so the referee favours ended. I agree though Gentile with 23 fouls on Maradona should have sent off in 10 mins.
