Spain were hungry and won it thanks to one Danish defensive error plus 2 penalties from Denmark plus one off a corner and unselfish counterattacking play by the Spaniards. Being hungry to win is very important in this game. Spain played a quick counterattacking and accurate passing game. Very good to learn from. Denmark was a good team in this tournament but Spain was the better team.

Así es. En ese día yo cumplía 10 años. Y recuerdo haber visto el partido. Impresionado, y con cierta sensación de venganza, porque Dinamarca había goleado a Uruguay. Ahora, creo que es una pena que esa Dinamarca no haya llegado por lo menos a semifinales. Un equipo memorable. Y España, bueno, una España típica, histórica. Metedora, aguerrida, la verdadera " furia ". No mucho en común con el estilo que abrazó desde mediados de los 2000. Les ha ido bie, pero la " furia " es su estilo histórico.
