Pero la amenaza no ha desaparecido. Como sabéis, en los últimos meses, Footballia ha estado en peligro de desaparición. Nos hemos protegido mejor para que sigáis disfrutando de la historia del fútbol, pero debido a ello, nuestros gastos han aumentado.

What a defensive display from the Greeks. Everybody were defending in white jerseys. The most important part in defense for Greece at their half was trio: Basinas, Zagorakis and Katsouranis which always stood closely in front of the last 4 and thus centre backs, Kapsis and Dellas that also played amazingly good. Portuguese didn't have a remedy for that, whenever they get closely to the greeks 16 yard box this three men attack them aggressively like a bees. If they then try to attack from the wing, the greeks would always double the Portugals player there. You can see how Giannakopoulos, Vryzas and even Charisteas (as only man that obviously was allowed to stay at front position) drop down to their left and rigth backs and try to help them defend. So the tactic was obviously:First, dont let them develop their game at our half, and then when we have the ball if we do something in front on counter attacks and set pieces that is great. Its pretty much eye catching that after scoring a goal, Greeks never again shot on it and created any chance, cause they did their job in attack, the only thing that was left to do was to keep the leading till the end.
